Forecasting of unemployment rate in Turkey

The subject of our study is the employment policies use against unemployment in Turkey and their effects on unemployment while they are being implemented. The study consists of three parts. Accordingly, the first part depends on employment policies used agains tunemployment. In the second part the types of unemployment and the economic policies applied in the economy are mentioned. In the third part, Stata program is used for analyzing the unemployment. The rate of the unemployment in the next 5 years has been estimated using pre-forecasting methods and econometric models. For this aim, expost and exante forecasts were obtained by using Simple MovingAverage, Simple Average, ARIMA models.
