Administration of national parks as protected areas in Turkey: the sample regarding 4. region management of forest and water affairs

Interruption and imperfections of administrative structure and organization as regards protected areas of Turkey is a common knowledge. The protected areas of our country are negative effected because of untidiness in the point of administrative structure of protected areas, complexity in legistation regarding protected areas and adversity sourced by quantity of corporations involved with decisions. The main purposes of this study are determined as to investigate source values and administrative structure regarding National Park Directorates under responsibility of 4. Region Management of Forest and Water Affairs, constitute the administrative problems and develop solution proposals. However, source values of national parks related this study were compared and efficacies at this areas were identified, administrative importance for active protecting of areas were determined with this investigation. Otherwise, positive and imperfect aspects of National Park Directorates and treats of national parks were investigated with this study. As a result, it was tried to take attention on the ideal organization of protected areas for the useful administrative structure and the formation of ideal administrative structure was revealed in the point of this examination. Comparison of interviews with officers at area studies and testing-judgment with hypothesis methods were used to determine the organization scheme of National Park Directorates. Suggestions as regards solution oriented solving problems of devoloping the administrative organization of National Park Directorates under the responsibility of 4.
