Underground resources and mining in Turkey

Mining is an indispensable part of life. Although these underground elements are used in many sectors, they are used in almost all business lines. The aim of this thesis is to give information about the mining activities of our country since the Ottoman Empire and the rich ores under our precious lands and the future contributions of these ores to our country. Our study provides information about the emergence of the mines on the stage of history and their usage areas, as well as about the mines from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic. In addition, information was given about the mines in our country based on the geographical regions. Information about the richness of underground resources in our country is given.
