Abstract (EN)
In the study, in which the selection of the facility location that can be established for the calcite mineral, the use of which is increasing day by day in the industry and contributing to employment with its processing, as well as economic value, the properties of calcite were examined first. The characteristics of the calcite and the plant to be processed, which vary according to the regions, have been extracted. While these properties were found, both the studies on the calcite mineral and site selection problem studies using multi-criteria decision making methods were examined. Research has been done one the analytical hierarchy process and the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process, which are among the multi-criteria decision making methods. Bursa, İzmir, Kırşehir, Muğla and Niğde alternatives were compared. According to the results obtained by the AHP and BAHP methods for the location selection of the calcite production facility, Kırşehir (AHP=0,313; BAHP=0,296) is in the first place, Bursa (AHP=0,265; BAHP=0,292) is in the second place and Niğde (AHP=0,180; BAHP=0,177) is in the third place.
