The importance of taxation policies on gaining competitive power and development of automotive sector in Turkey

Due to the high importance of the automotive industry in general macroeconomic perspective, the impact of taxation policies on the development and gaining competitive power for automotive sector is analysed based on the evaluation of related tax legislation and the results of the survey performed with the leading firms high level professionals in the sector and concluded that the taxation policies has a high importance on the development and gaining competitive power for automotive sector. Taxation policies should consider the balance between tax income from the sector and tax incentives for further developments of the sector. Keywords: Automotive Sector, Tax Policies, Competitive Power
