Evaluation of the nature educations in Turkey (Kaçkar Mountains National Park case study)

Abstract (EN)
This study is prepared with the aim of determining the development and present position of the implemented nature educations which is also known as sustainable development education.The questionnaires which prepared by TÜBİTAK and applied by the project beneficiaries during training process in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 are evaluated. 276 quessionnaires were implemented on the common courses Eco tourism, Flora, First Aid and Jeomorphology in the mentioned years are evaluated with in the scope of this study. Ecology course was not implemented during 2007-2008. Therefore left 188 questionnaires of the other years are used as data for the evaluation. Nature philosophy course was not implemented in 2004 and in the second term of 2006. Totally 232 questionnaires are used for the Nature Philosophy course. Nutaral Landscaping course was not implemented on 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 152 questionnaires of the other years are evaluated. In addition to this during the questionnaire implementations participants were asked for the written evaluation of the trainings and these datas are used for the general evaluation of the trainings. Questionnaires results are analysed with correlation and variance analysis with the SPSS package programme.The evaluation of the trainings and the impact of the trainings on participants are stated with the achieved results. According to the achieved results; practical nature trainings have the similar impact on the participants on the different specializations, the practical trainings are deficient in our country and ten days trainings are ensuring measurable awareness on participants about learning the language of the nature.
