Abstract (EN)
In this study, Eight species belong to genus Plantago L. in growing Turkey (P. lanceolata L. (Sp. PL), P. lagopus L. (Sp. Pl.)), were investigated in point of karyologic and cytotaxonomic. Investigated species were placed in Arnoglossum section. The seeds of investigated species (P. lanceolata, P. lagopus) were used for chromosomes analysis. The numbers and measurements of somatic chromosomes were carried in results of chromosomes works. In this species, the chromosome numbers were in P. lanceolata 2n=12, P. Lagopus 2n=12. All of the chromosomes had median region (m), subterminal (st), or submedian (sm) centromeres.
