Abstract (EN)
The subject and content of the research basically focuses on Afyon Kocatepe University State Conservatory İbrahim Alimoğlu Music Museum which is one of the institution led to the development of music museum that has 420 piece instruments and is growing day by day, developing itself and contributing the country culture tourism. It is important to mentionthat music museum which is new and original in its area that especially preserves and exhibits the musical instruments and using the techniques of "Organology" (Instrument Science) which is a discipline that is really important regarding the methods of it. The research is limited with music museum and the Afyon Kocatepe University State Conservatory of Afyonkarahisar İbrahim Alimoğlu Music Museum. It is a descriptive research by using qualitative methods and based on screening model. The data is composed according to the subordinate problems which are processed and have a great proposition for transferring the historical accumulation of World musical cultures to the future generations. The subject is classified with Asia, Africa, Europe and U.S.A. in terms of the amount of instruments. It is thought that the research will contribute to the field and it will be a supportive work to the new research studies in this topic. Keywords: Museum, Organology, Instrument.
