Özet (EN)

In this thesis, the isotopic formations in the nuclear reaction (spallation) processes of the selected target elements U233 and Au197 were examined. The main aim of the study is to obtain the probabilities of isotopic formations resulting from spallation reactions with protons at different energy levels (500 MeV and 800 MeV) and to evaluate the findings by comparing them with experimental results taken from the literature. For this purpose, the theoretical results obtained using the CEM03.1 program were compared with the available experimental data in the NEA- (EXFOR) database. As a result of the research, it was observed that the isotope formation cross-sections obtained with high-energy proton bombardment had higher values. The production cross-sections of long-lived isotopes allow us to predict the long-term radioactive poisoning level of the target. In addition, the study provides significant findings in the fields of nuclear waste management and safety, offering guiding recommendations for future research. This study, presented to better understand high-energy nuclear reaction processes, aims to contribute to the development of more efficient and safer solutions in the fields of nuclear technology and energy production.
