Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to perform the topic of topology optimization, which is an area that gains in value as a result of the hysteria of creating light and durable structures, which is increasing in importance day by day, on a bracket carrying an aircraft engine, and thus to obtain a light and durable bracket without loss of any function. Considering the integrated load set coming to the bracket, a linear static structural analysis was first performed on the bracket and the load paths on the bracket were determined. Afterwards, the bracket volume was desired to be reduced to a certain extent, and topology optimization was applied to the structure in accordance with the entered objective function, and it was proved by a new verification analysis that the resulting final volume would withstand these loads. As the output of the thesis work, more than 30% reduction was achieved in the bracket structure. In addition, the quality of the structural analysis has been proven and the analysis parameters are verified. The topology optimized data was softened in line with the manufacturability criteria, the resulting peak stresses were taken into account, and it was parametrically modeled in the CAD environment in accordance with its final sizing. Appropriate additive manufacturing methods that allow the bracket to be manufactured are recommended.
