Abstract (EN)
Turkey is a developing country, and owes its development mostly to agricultural activities. Therefore, agriculture has to be enhanced to its efficiency by making structural changes. To this end, in 1961, Land Consolidation (LC) has been started. The first goal of LC was to unite scattered farmlands and to reshape the areas whose geographical shapes were not convenient for newly developed mechanical agriculture. Cropland improvement missions such as irrigation, drainage, rock removal and leveling have been applied as a part of todays' LC intention. Not only developing agricultural lands, but also developing cultivator's living conditions have been targeted with LC. The rate of reshaped areas have been calculated and the accomplishment rate in this project has been thought to be associated with it. In this study, the projects which were carried out about 5 parts, Salur and Kızık villages in Manyas district of Balikesir, Village of Konaklı in Ödemis district of Izmir, Altınova village in Tavas district of Denizli, and Korukezen village of Şanlıurfa have been observed. Comparisons were made on criterion such as cadastral structure of villages, ownership situations, possibility of accessing road network directly, co-partnership situations of tenant, grading works, stationary facilities, interviews, distributions, parceling and combination rates. LC projects are collected under five titles, integration of lands, escaped confiscation, irrigation, drainage, and renewal cadaster, according to their purposes. Projects are evaluated accordingly, and proposals are made.
