Migration international security issues and its effects on Turkey

As of the existence of human beings on earth, from time to time, societies were forced to migrate due to undesirable conditions like war, exile and catastrophic disasters. In some cases they migrated voluntarily with the hope to achieve better living conditions. During these migrations, material and spiritual elements of cultures were also conveyed and people from different cultures mutually influenced each other's lives. Inventions as well as diseases have also been transferred from one place to another with different forms of migration. With the industrialization movement in the 17th century and following periods, labor deficits emerged in Western Worlds. This deficit was filled with different types of migrations such as 'slavery', 'contracted labor' and various types of 'planned migration' which started after the Second World War. However as of the 1980s Western countries declared that their labor deficits were fully met, they imposed great restrictions on immigration policies and made it almost impossible. Nevertheless, in the meantime, labor deficit that occurred due to undesired jobs by the Westerns was filled with illegal immigrants. During the difficult and highly risky illegal migrations, migrants were exposed to the abusive behavior and abuse of smugglers. In some cases they even have loosed their lives due to the heavy geographical conditions on their ways. Moreover, those who were forced to leave their countries due to wars and internal turmoil in different parts of the world constituted a separate group of immigrants called 'refugees'. Whatever the reason might be, migration impacts the ceded, transited and targeted countries. An extensive analyze and multidimensional approach to these impacts will allow a better understanding of migration itself and the solution of problems arising from the migration.
