Özet (EN)

In this study 376 workers, who work at rectorship un its of Kütahya Dumlupınar University in the city centre and townsin 2008 ? 2009 Educational year between April 2009 and June 2009, attended. Of these workers, 127 are associates and instructors, 133 work at general administrative services, 20 work at assistant services, 12 work at health services, 29 work at tecnical services, 36 work at security services and 19 work at other occupation groups.In the organization of data, MS Excel tabulation packet program; and for the statistical analyses SPSS 16 statistics packet program have been used. In all statistical analyses, signifance level was accepted as 0.05.According to the test results, among the factors that affected the obesity, sex, age, marital status, occupation, income, habit of eating at night, eating speed, being ona diet, daily calory taking, status of doing sports, and occupational mobility have been found important and meaningful (P<0.05).Educational status, the number of daily meal, status of skipping the meals, daily usage of TV and computer, and familial fatness haven?t been found meaningful as statistically (P>0.05).Key Words: Obesity, frequerce, nutrition, physical activity.
