The purpose of this research is studying the relationship between university students' physical activity and internet addiction. 1419 students studying at Hitit University, Gazi University, Kırıkkale University Faculty of Sport Sciences and Faculty of Health Sciences participated in the research. "Personal Information Form", "The International Physical Activity Questionnaires (IPAQ)" and "Young's Internet Addiction Test" were used as a data collection tool. SPSS 22.0 program was used in the analysis of the data. One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used for normality of the distribution of samples. Ki Kare and Mann Whitney U tests were used for comparison of the scale scores. Frequency analysis was used for determining the percentage distribution. Spearman's correlation test was used for analysis of the relationships between scale scores. Statistical significance level was determined as p<0,05. As a result of statistical analysis, physical activity level and intensity vary significantly according to universities, faculties, ages, Body Mass Index (BMI), gender, regular physical activity status, smoking status, having your own computer status and average time spent online on the internet (p<0,05). Internet addiction levels of university students vary significantly according to smoking status, alcohol status and average time spent online on the internet (p<0,05). Severe activity level of students studying in sports departments was found to be significantly higher than students studying in the Faculty of Health Sciences (p<0,05). It was determined that the light physical activity score of university students of two different departments generally was higher. It was determined that there wasn't significant relationship between physical activity level and symptoms of internet addiction of the students participating in the research (p<0,05). Students whose physical activity level is low should be encouraged to do physical activity in their free time.
