Design a system to monitor the transportation process from supplier to consumer by using blockchain technology

There is proposal has been made about to solve the problems in food supply chain management by using Blockchain technology in this thesis. In order to understand the proposal, the Blockchain technology which will be used to generate solution has been introduced. Bitcoin technology which was created Blockchain has been explained. Information about cryptography provided which is one of key future of high security. Terms such as Wallet, Mempool, Mining are explained which are necessary to work with Bitcoin. There is information about in innovative data recording method which provides tamper-proof data protection in Blockchain technology. There is information about %51 attack problem in Blockchain which is a security vulnerability and countermeasures suggested about the attack. There is information provided about Ethereum technology which provides technologies beyond transfer records such as smart contract and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO). Blockchain provides innovative methods which will transform industries and there are predictions for 50 sectors which will affected by Blockchain then focused to solve difficulties by using Blockchain in Supply Chain Management which is one of these sectors. There is a proof of concept system example which is a working Blockchain simulator can be used for supply chain management introduced at the end of study. Hyperledger technology which is supported by IBM was preferred as infrastructure of POS platform. The Docker Container platform used to create example on the Windows 10 Pro Operation System. Hyperledger Composer Playground has been used to create POS application. There is a shipment transfers process from grower to importer in example application. There is two main action in example application. One of them is reading temperature and second one is receiving container. There is money transfer process from importer to grower after successful shipment receive. Blockchain technology provides tamper-proof data record method which establishes secure collaboration between different companies which are working all together in Supply Chain Management.
