Abstract (EN)
In this study, Bird rowan (Sorbus aucuparia), Dogwood (Cornus mas) and Wild Cherry (Prunus avium) removal of barriers to the germination of seeds and germination percentage and germination rates by some preprocessing were determined. Species chosen for the study are the species of plant which is indigenous to the Eastern Black Sea region. The land structure is very steep, rugged and sloping areas therefore it is largely exposed to erosion and erosion control studies are extremely important for the existing natural vegetation and wildlife. The methods for eliminating the germination problems is determined separately for each species. Bird Rowan seeds, cold stratification (30, 45, 60, 75, 90 and 120 days) and concentrated (96%) H2SO4 (5, 10 and 15 min); cranberry seed sowing collect balls , in different combinations, cold + hot stratification for 30 weeks and H2SO4 + hot + cold stratification in different combinations; Wild Cherry sowing seeds collect balls, in different combinations, hot stratification and cold stratification for 8 weeks, waiting in refrigerator + autumn and spring sowing, 4 months warm stratification + autumn sowing methods have been applied. Bird rowan seed germination trials was perforemed under laboratory conditions with four replications, wild cherry and cranberry seeds trials was perforemed in outdoor conditions with three replications according to randomized complete block design. The highest germination percentage of seeds of wild cherry (52.9% and 52.6), respectively, collect seed balls (June 2010) and in the fridge waiting (±4°C) + autumn cultivation methods, the highest germination percentage of seeds of cranberries (56.4%) collect balls planted (September 2010) is obtained from seeds, bird rowan seed germination could not be obtained.
