Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to analyze the confidence in distant education according to the views of education shareholders (teacher, manager, parent). With this purpose, scanning model was used in the study. The study group of the research was selected through easily accessible sampling; it consists of 28 primary school administrators, 150 classroom teachers and 201 primary school parents residing in this city, working in Ağrı in the 2021-2022 academic year. Elementary school managers are asked 5, classroom teachers are asked 7 and parents are asked 4 questions in the semi-structured interview form to elicit the participants' views. The obtained data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. As the findings are examined, it is deduced that elementary school shareholders typically have confidence in digital applications used in distant education; however, all shareholders consider traditional education safer when compared to distant education. Stakeholders stated that their confidence was damaged in this process, mostly due to financial difficulties, problems with internet access and infrastructure, lack of participation and absenteeism. It is concluded that classroom teachers have confidence in themselves as to teaching competence; nevertheless, they do not have confidence in parents as they cannot fulfill the duties and responsibilities of teachers. As a result, it is seen that distant education gives the sense of confidence since it ensures the continuity of education and protects people healthwise even though it cannot replace traditional education.
