In existing or newly planned cities collection and evaluation of data for methods to prevent or reduce air pollution

The change of the main substances in the natural composition of the clean air, the penetration of different substances into the structure of the air, the deterioration of the materials of the air by artificial means above or below the threshold level that harm the living and non-living life due to various consumption and economic activities is called air pollution. Living things breathe the air that exists without a choice. The poor quality of the breathing air affects the live life and health negatively. Recently, the air pollution has become a major problem in Turkey and throughout the world because of physical and social factors. The most important one of its various reasons is the erroneous or unplanned urbanization of the rapidly increasing population. For this reason, In the design of city plans, the existing cities and new planned areas for the determination of polluted air, collection of data related to the area, epidemiological research and determination of polluting species and limit values of these pollutants through various air pollution measurement techniques, as well as climatic formations that have an effect on urban air pollution., it is aimed to guide the designer by creating a model that will reduce air pollution in the city with the help of accurate data obtained as a result of the evaluation of spatial data such as soil qualities and making environment.
