Abstract (EN)
In this study, geopolymer mortar was produced by using vermiculite, silica sand and fly ash (FA). To activate FA Na2SiO3 and NaOH are used. With produced mortar samples, flow table, water absorptions, wet and dry unit weight, apparent porosity, compressive strength, ultrasonic pulse velocity, thermal conductivity and microstructure analysis (SEM) experiments were carried out. With this experiments, physical characteristics of the samples were analysed. Geopolymer mortar samples were kept waiting in laboratory environment for 28 days. Dimensions of samples are 4×4×16 cm. Produced samples have 12 different series. 36 samples were produced in total. The purpose in this study is to pruduce light, sound and thermal insulated geopolymer mortar by using vermiculite and is to use FA which is waste material in maximum ratio. Consequently, apparent porosity values of the geopolymer mortars ranged between %30,19 and %39,5. Also dry unit weight values ranged 1,19 g/cm3-1,55 g/cm3; ultrasonic pulse velocity values ranged 1,84-3,0 km/s and coefficient of thermal conductivity values ranged between 0,373-0,794 W/mK.
