Abstract (EN)

Since the discovery of bioelectric phenomena, the study of the electrical behavior of living tissues has undoubtedly been of great interest in the scientific world. While investigation of these properties offer a solution for existing problems, the results are also important for biomedical engineers and physiologists. Therefore, dielectric studies of biomaterials have importance in the fields of medical diagnosis, electrophysiology and biophysics. In this context, the dielectric properties of pleural effusion and peritoneal effusion fluids have been investigated using Alpha-A High Resolution Dielectric, Conductivity and Impedance in the frequency range between 0.1Hz-20MHz at room temperature, Using the obtained results, dielectric constant, dielectric loss and alternating conductivity values have been calculated and examined. In addition, the results obtained from dielectric spectroscopy and the results obtained from the method used in medicine have been compared and the difference between healthy and malign body fluids has been determined by dielectric spectroscopy.
