Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of fire on soil properties and nitrogen mineralization on burned area were investigated in four period (April-July to October 2014 and March 2015) in red pine stands Sarıçiçek area in Vezirköprü, Samsun. For this purpose, low intensity burned areas and control areas of total 6 areas were selected. Measurements were carried out over a period of 4 years. Nitrogen mineralization was determined land incubation method. Soil properties such as texture, pH, organic matter, Total nitrogen, bulk density, C/N ratio were analayzed. For nitrogen mineralization, ammonia and nitrate were analayzed. In the 0-10 cm soil deep, annual nitrogen mineralization, was found 25,2/ ha in burned area and in 23,6 kg/ha control areas. At the end of the investigation, It has emerged as the impact of fire on soil properties. However, due to the low intensity of the fire it is believed that this effect is not significant.
