Abstract (EN)
In this study, the contact problem in functionally graded (FG) layers loaded with two rigid blocks is investigated by considering the weight effect. Finite element (FEM) and artificial intelligence methods were used to solve the problem. In the first chapter, previous researches on contact problems and artificial intelligence methods are summarized and the scope of the study is mentioned. In the second chapter, continuous and discontinuous contact problems are solved. In the case of continuous contact, the initial separation load and distances between the FG layers, the stresses between the layers and along the depth were investigated. In the discontinuous contact problem, the separation start and end points are found. The properties of FG layers are defined with the help of a macro in the ANSYS package program. In the third chapter, an algorithm was created in accordance with the separation start and end points data obtained from the discontinuous contact problem. The algorithm was transferred to the Python program and the solution of the discontinuous contact problem was made with an artificial intelligence application. Linear regression, polynomial regression and Deep Neural Network (DNN) were used for the artificial intelligence solution of the problem. As a result, computer learning was provided with different artificial intelligence methods, so the contact problem was solved in a much shorter time. The data obtained from the artificial intelligence solution were compared with the FEM solutions and positive results were obtained.
