Abstract (EN)

Today, people's household waste is increasing rapidly with the population. This situation causes environmental problems that are difficult to return. At the same time, wastes cause health problems in humans. One of the effective and efficient solutions for household waste is recycling. At this point, the question of which wastes come from which people and which industries need these wastes is an important problem. Artificial intelligence is a very useful tool in solving complex and difficult problems. Artificial intelligence helps people make accurate and fast decisions based on data. However, artificial intelligence is an emerging technology that needs new studies. Many environmental problems are solved efficiently with artificial intelligence. In case the waste method is realized with artificial intelligence, it offers advantages over traditional methods. With the help of artificial intelligence, future plans can be made.In this study, demographic information of people and data of which class of solid household waste they leave mostly fall into were collected by survey method. With the collected data and the models prepared, it was estimated which category of the wastes belonging to people with various demographic characteristics mostly fall into. At the same time, the amount of waste left by individuals was estimated and individuals leaving waste were separated into clusters with clustering algorithms. In the study, decision trees, random forest and deep learning and k-means algorithms, which are widely used in artificial intelligence research, were used. Afterwards, simulations were established with estimation algorithms and it was determined that the people with the most characteristics of waste such as paper, cardboard, etc., left the need of the forest industry. At the same time, the profiles of individuals leaving waste were created with clustering algorithms. As a result of the study, it has been shown that the characteristics of individuals leaving different solids can be determined with artificial intelligence algorithms. At the same time, it has been found that it is possible to profile individuals leaving waste using artificial intelligence. Waste paper has a critical importance in terms of paper-cardboard factories and the country's economy. However, the recycling of waste paper has a strategic importance in terms of protecting the forests of our country. Studies based on artificial intelligence are needed for smart waste management systems in cities
