Abstract (EN)
Wood, which has been used to provide shelter since prehistoric times, is one of the important building materials in the sector. Traditional wood, which could not show sufficient resistance against various environmental factors, has been developed as industrial wood building materials and systems with 21st century technology. Industrial wood building materials are lightweight, have fast construction possibilities, are reusable and recyclable materials. This situation allows sustainable and innovative wood structures to be designed. In addition, the use of industrial wood building materials that can store carbon in the construction sector is important in today's world, where the construction sector accounts for the majority of primary energy use and CO2 emissions. In this context, a reconstructed housing model in the study will be transferred to Revit software and then evaluated with the help of the 'One Click LCA' plugin from the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools for environmental impact analysis regarding production, use and end-of-life processes. In this study; It is aimed to examine and compare the environmental impacts of the housing model reconstructed with CLT panel, SIP and concrete panel systems by taking a sample housing model from Vural (2005)'s doctoral thesis and the housing model reconstructed with CLT panel, SIP and concrete panel systems through LCA.
