Abstract (EN)
The properties of aluminum alloys such as low mass level, high specific strength, high corrosion resistance and improvement of their mechanical properties, forming and processing comfort enable them to benefit in many areas. Automotive, aerospace, electronics, transportation, machinery and manufacturing sectors are the leading areas. Because they are light, especially in the automotive, aerospace and aviation industries, weights are of great importance in saving fuel by reducing as much as possible and preventing air pollution. Another important feature of aluminum alloys is that their mechanical properties can be improved. Depending on the improvement of the mechanical qualities of these alloys, their use in many sectors emerges. Aging is of great importance in the improvement of the mechanical properties of aluminum alloys. One of the most used Al alloys is 7075 Aluminum alloys. Due to the fact that 7075 aluminum alloys contain Aluminum-Zinc-Magnesium-Copper, various aging processes are performed and their mechanical qualities are improved and commercially available. This aluminum alloy series, whose strength is increased, can be eliminated by applying deformation aging when it is subjected to any thermal effect in industrial use. In this study, the effect of deformation aging on the mechanical properties of a commercially available aluminum alloy with heat treatment was determined and the relationship between the mechanical properties and the microstructure was investigated. In this study, the effects of heat treatments on Al's alloys' mechanical properties and machinability properties were investigated. In this context, the changes in the mechanical properties of the samples with different aging processes, their machinability properties and the relationships between them are examined.
