Abstract (EN)

The elderly population is increasing rapidly both in the world and in our country. In our country, which has a very young population, it is foreseen that the elderly population will increase significantly and will reach a considerable rate within the population in a very long period of time. One of the most important problems is the weakening of the integration of the elderly population with the society and the state of social exclusion. The phenomenon of social exclusion experienced by the elderly brings along important social problems. In this respect, it will be very important to show the relationship between the elderly and social exclusion in this thesis, how the elderly and the society are affected by this problem and what kind of measures can be taken in the solution of this problem. This research has methodological qualitative research feature. In-depth interview method will be used to collect data on the subject. It is planned to use a research group consisting of approximately thirty people. In addition to the data to be obtained on the basis of volunteerism with these individuals, scientific articles written in this field are aimed to be included in the literature and also to include theoretical knowledge.
