Abstract (EN)
In this study, three series of azolium salts including imidazolium, quinoxaline bridged imidazolium, and benzimidazolium chloride or bromide salts were synthesized. The structure of all synthesized compounds were determined by using spectroscopic techniques such as 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR, mass, and elemental analyses. Also, the structure of two salts were elucidated by X-Ray single crystal method. The enzyme inhibition activities of imidazolium and quinoxaline bridged imidazolium salts against hCA I, hCA II isoenzymes and AChE enzymes were investigated. These salts exhibited good enzyme inhibition activities. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of benzimidazolium salts were investigated. The tested salts showed good antimicrobial activity. It was observed that the salts to be more active against fungi.
