In this study, a new ankle prosthesis design was planned by examining the advantages and disadvantages of the ankle prosthesis used so far. In the first part of the work, the anatomy and biomechanical properties of the foot-ankle complex are described. Then the results of the studies of total ankle prosthesis and prosthesis which are widely used today are examined. After reviewing these results, missing aspects of the ankle prosthesis were observed and a new ankle prosthesis design was realized accordingly. A new ankle prosthesis component was imaged using the SOLIDWORKS program in the numerical research section of the study.
