Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to determine the welding damages and their causes which are occurred chassis of the horizontal mixer used in an underground mine. In the studies carried out for this purpose, firstly, the stress analysis of the loads on the chassis was carried out. It was seen that the results obtained from the analysis and the places where the detected damages were determined largely overlapped with each other. The parts of weld beads in mixer chassis were first subjected to visual inspection and then examined using penetrant liquid and magnetic particle methods. In the stress analysis, it has been determined that the determined damages are in the moving parts of the chassis, where the greatest stresses are obtained, which are exposed to the greatest load and moment (steering system, concrete drum lifting system etc.). Considering the operating conditions of the chassis, the extent of the damage was evaluated together with the stress analysis and the repair procedures for these damages were created after the detected damages were classified according to their characters. Necessary chassis repairs were carried out in line with the determined repair procedures. As a result of the repairs, it was seen from the stress analysis simulating the repaired state of the chassis, that the welding damages determined on the chassis were removed and a uniform stress distribution was achieved in the chassis. As a result of the work carried out, the vehicle's ability to work safely and its operational efficiency have increased.
