Abstract (EN)

In aviation, monitoring and evaluation of parameters related to the correct operation of the aircraft engine and its components is vital for flight safety and aircraft maintenance monitoring. In this study, the thrust value of a passenger plane and its engine was calculated using Particle Swarm Optimization and Spotted Hyena Optimization methods. In both optimization methods performed in the study, the number of iterations, population range and search space were chosen equally to compare the optimization methods. The data used were taken from 50 real flights, 40 of which were used for training optimization methods and 10 for testing purposes. With this study, it is seen that some indicators that do not have a backup on the aircraft can be calculated with the help of different engine data and algorithms taken from the sensors. As a reference for the thrust value followed by pilots in the cockpit for flight safety, the flight control parameter engine shaft rotation speed, that is, N1 value, was calculated with high accuracy for all flight phases from taxi to landing, without dividing the flight phases. The convergence time of the optimization methods used in the study and the high accuracy rates they achieved have supported the fact that algorithms that process data for flight safety can be an alternative calculation method.
