Abstract (EN)
In this study, High Entropy Cr20MnxFe20Co20Ni20WCx alloy produced with Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni and WC elements in powder form was investigated and a homogeneous mixture was obtained by changing the ratio of Mn and WC in the alloy and adding Tungsten Carbide (WC) at different ratios (3%-5%-10%) to Cr20Mn20-xFe20Co20Ni20WCx alloy material. The mixtures were produced by powder metallurgy method and pressed under 6 tons of pressure to a weight of 30 g and the samples were made ready for metallographic processes. Eight alloy samples were produced by arc melting method, 4 alloy samples were heat treated at 950 oC for 24 hours and 4 heat treated and 4 normal samples were produced. Wear tests, microhardness, XRD, SEM and EDS analyzes were performed on the produced samples and the effect on microstructure properties was investigated. In the experimental studies, it was determined that the heat treated samples had a higher average hardness value than the normal samples and the grain structures of the samples whose XRD, SEM and EDS microstructures were examined were preserved, but their ratios changed. As a result of the wear test, it was observed that the mass loss of the heat-treated samples with the addition of WC (3%-5%-10%) decreased positively compared to the normal samples. It can be evaluated that new studies by changing the ratio of elements in Cr20Mn20-xFe20Co20Ni20WCx alloy or using different elements can shed light on new studies.
