Abstract (EN)
Today, large companies follow various methods during mass production. One of these methods is the production of parts with zamak die casting. It is a type of method preferred for the production of parts that are mostly in the middle register, glass and door sectors, and which are small compared to their places, but rather bulky. In order to obtain the determined geometries of the parts during casting, mold manufacturing is carried out over the determined technical dimensions. The molds made first enter the trial phase and are tested. If the products coming out of the mold meet the necessary conditions, mass production starts. However, in some molds, errors may occur due to design, depending on the situation, physical, environmental and similar factors. In this thesis, a product that slows down the production track and causes problems due to part geometry will be discussed. First, the changes to be made on the part were decided. The comparison of the old and new state of the part over the determined parameters was carried out with the help of analysis programs. Optimization of the product and the mold was achieved.
