Analyzing Ziya Gökalp's Kızılelma in terms of presupposition and presupposition triggers

The aim of this study is to determine the presupposition and presupposition triggers in the poetry book called Kızılelma by Ziya GÖKALP, the founder of Turkism, and to bring them to light. All the poems in this poetry book, in which Ziya GÖKALP's ideological ideas are included, as long as the Turks are in unity and solidarity, no one can stand against them, and how heroic the Turks have a heroic spirit, have been analyzed separately and all presuppositions and presupposition triggers in the poems have been determined one by one. Document analysis design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. As a result of the research, the presuppositions in the aforementioned work consisting of 183 pages and 27 poems were found and their types were determined according to the criteria. The presuppositions in the work were found one by one and 7 different types of presuppositions were found. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there are structural presupposition (292), lexical presupposition (392), existential presupposition (574), factual presupposition (98), non-factual presupposition (8), counter-factual presupposition (10), presupposition by pre- and post-reference (236).
