This investigation headed ?A study upon After-Sales Service in Furniture sector in Zonguldak? has been prepared as a Graduation Thesis at Bartın University, Science of Art Institute, Forest Industry Engineering Discipline, Forest Industry Machines and Enterprise Programme.Within the recent years, growing competitive atmosphere in Turkey and in the world shepherds the companies toward overrating to the after-sales services. This importance has been well understood and increased by the companies just after ?Total Quality Management? concept came up in the companies agendasBeside these positive improvements in the furniture sector, the most important point is to keep the after-sales service mantality up with the changing time and modern life.Also the company staff that is working for the after-sales service dept. has to develop themselves in order to meet changing customer expectations. Therefore the companies which can?t keep pace with the fastly growing sectorel conditions those can?t keep pace with the producing and competitive conditions either.In the scope of this investigation, furniture preferances and tendency factors around Zonguldak city have been tried to be defined. As the working material, Zonguldak city center as well as six central towns have been choosen. As the method, public survey by mutually negotiating technique has been choosen. Number of the consumers involved in this survey is 383.Apart from furniture preferences and after-sale services, also income levels, educational positions, profession distributions, age groups, marital status as well as demographic factors have been defined in this study.
