Investigation of Disaster Preparedness Level of Personnel Working in 112: Gümüşhane Province Sample, Master Thesis, 2019,(XVII+88). Turkey is frequently exposed to disasters due to its location. Disasters can occur unexpectedly. In our country, earthquake, flood, landslide, fire and so on. disasters occur. These disasters cause major damages. Plans should be made to overcome disasters with the least damage. The more these plans will be before the disaster, the smaller the damage rate will be. The level of disaster preparedness and the level of knowledge of the community and certain organizations need to be high in order to reduce disasters. Therefore, there is a duty for certain institutions and organizations. Health institutions are the leading ones. After disaster occurs, health institutions will be the institutions most needed by individuals. Health organizations should be able to provide uninterrupted service even after a disaster. For this reason, the better the health institutions be prepared before the disaster, the higher the welfare of individuals will be. The aim of this study is to investigate the level of disaster preparedness of the personnel in Gümüşhane. Quantitative research method was used in the study. This is a cross-sectional study. The data were obtained from the questionnaire applied to 105 people working in Gümüşhane 112. As a data collection tool, Fatih Karabıyık's questionnaire form which was developed in 2010 during his thesis study entitled "Planning and Risk Analysis in Health Disaster Management" was used. The data were analyzed in SPSS program. In statistical analysis, T-test, Frequency Analysis, One-Way Anova Test and Correlation Analysis were used. According to the data obtained from the survey, it was determined that the ratio of the health personnel who took disaster-related education participating in the study was high (56.2%), the rate of participating in a drill (36.2%) or the ratio of those working in a disaster (21.9%) was low. According to the results of the study, the disaster preparedness level of the personnel working in Gümüşhane 112 was found to be moderate (3.09). Adequate level of disaster training should be given to the personnel working in the institution. In case of a disaster, a more efficient disaster plan should be prepared. More importance should be given to triage studies in the institution. The institution should be able to cooperate with other institutions to ensure better coordination in case of disaster. The institution should give more importance to triage studies. In case of a disaster, work should be carried out in a team approach.
