Abstract (EN)

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of virtual reality training in 12-13 year old children's football players. Metrial and Method: 24 child footballers with an amateur athlete license between the ages of 12 and 13 participated in the study by the Turkish Football Federation. 24 participants VR Group, which applies football head kick skill only with virtual reality technology method, VR and traditional method Group, which uses virtual reality and traditional methods in a mixed way and as an VR and traditional method group, where traditional methods are used in a mixed way, and a control group that trains only with traditional methods, they were divided into 3 separate groups as 8 people and participated in an 8-week training process. Mixed research techniques were applied in the study Mixed research techniques were applied in the study. The research design is a combined mixed pattern developed by Kalkan (2020). The performance test of the research was carried out as pre-test, dec-test and final test. Findings: Based on the results obtained from the results, it was concluded that virtual reality technology can be used as an effective training method in the development of head kick skills in football.
