Transcription and analysis of Gaziantep sheria recordd numbered 147 (H.1281-1289/M.1864-1872)

Şer'îyye registers are one of firs hand researehes for citiy history and researches. Şer'îyye registers give important informations about social, piltical, administrative, military, economic, structures of cities under Ottoman administration. I this Ottomon Goverment, Moslem Judges have broad outherities and responsibilities. As a result, the register boks which held by moslem judge include various subjects such as disagreements between people, heritage, marriage, taxation, foundation and public order. Our tehisis includes between 149 and 267 pages of Ayıntab Şer'îyye register which is 147 number. This register book which is in question is the court records kept in the city of Ayıntab which is in the administrotion of Ottoman state of H.1281-1289/M.1864-1872.
