Encomium in odes of 16th century

Eulogy is the most important the sort of poetry in The Literature of Divan. It is written by poets to praise statemen and religionmen. The poets usually praise positions, justices, heros, caliphs, generosities and profeesion of arts of the statemen. They explain their praises exaggerated. They make up the praise forms and usually use likening and allousion arts in these praise forms. The poets that can see statemes?s qualities either praise or not touch on them. Especially, they sometimes praise their lacking qualities. So they want to send them a message. Each poets praise their different qualities. One of them praise their heros, the other of them praise their generosities. But all of their expressions are nearly same. This situation shows to visual angles of the poets that is important. In short, when poets praise statemen, both they point out their necessary qualities of them and they have baksheesh from statemen. So, they attain their desires and requests.
