Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to translate Abdullah Ayyubi's Miftâhu's-Sa'adeti'l-Medîne into the Latin alphabet we use today, and to ensure that the work is better understood. This work is a summary of the Arabic work Vefâ'ül-Vefâ bi-Ahbâri Dâri'l-Mustafâ written by Semhûdi, written in Ottoman Turkish. The aim was to raise awareness for Ottoman Turkish. The author wrote this work so that the Masjid-i Nebi and Medina could be better known by Muslim Turks. The work exists in three manuscript copies today. The first is registered in the Ankara National Library, the second in the Çorum Hasan Paşa Manuscript Library Directorate, and the third in the Balıkesir Mutasarrıf Ali Bey Library. We conducted our study based on the manuscript in the Ankara National Library. While transcribing this work, scientific transcription rules were taken as basis. The work consists of an introduction, eight chapters, and an epilogue. The first section contains the names of Medina, the second section contains the characteristics and virtues of the city, the third section contains the first inhabitants of the town and who resided there until the Prophet Muhammad, the fourth section contains the first construction of Ravza-i Mutahhara and the construction of the minarets and walls until the mentioned date, the fifth section contains the markets, mountains and wells in the city, the sixth section contains the mosques in Medina, the seventh section contains the Baqi' cemetery and the tombs and cemeteries of famous people around it, the eighth section contains the obligation of visiting Medina, and the epilogue contains the etiquette of visiting and the prayers to be recited.
