Socio-economic and administrative structure of Söke accident in 19th century

In Ottoman history, the XIX. century has a great importance as a period in which many developments took place. XIX. century in the II. Since the Mahmud period, many innovations have occurred. It is possible to evaluate this series of innovations as the reflection of the developments in Europe on the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire lagged behind the developments in this Europe, embarked on a solution movement for this and therefore started to make many innovations. As a result of the innovations, it was seen that some changes took place in the province. In our thesis, it has been tried to explain how and to what extent this transformation in the XIX. century modernization process was reflected in the Söke district in the countryside, as well as the situation of the Söke district at that time. Our thesis consists of three separate chapters and an introduction. In this context, in the introduction part, information about Ottoman urban historiography and the sources used in this field, especially which of these sources we used in our thesis and how we benefited, is given. In the first chapter, information about the general history of Söke county in the historical process is given. In the second part, the institutions, civil servants, courts, commissions and the rank and decorations in the administrative structure of Söke district are mentioned. In the third chapter, the population of the district will be discussed under the main title of "demographic structure" in the social and economic structure of the district of Söke. Then, under the main title of "social structure", information will be given about education, meeting the needs of the residents of the accident, the types and numbers of places in Söke, and finally the archaeological excavations. Under the title of "economic structure", which is our other title; Factories and crafts in Söke district, agricultural products, forests and finally taxes collected in the district will be mentioned. In this section, under the title of "communication and transportation", which is our last main title, telegraph and mail are mentioned in the title of communication, and railways and highways are mentioned in the title of transportation.
