Abstract (EN)

Political events cannot be distinguished from socio-cultural and economic realities of regions. These facts affected each other. During the transcription and evaluation of 196 numbered Besni Şer`iyye Sicil, the regions social, cultural and economic situation, between the years of 1910-1912, were criticized. As a result of these evaluations no public security problems were found. Beside the influence of woman in society, however, Non-Muslim had prejudice about the religious conversion. The senstive attitude of administrative mechanism and Muslims on religious matters had been reflected to these documents. Also during the evaluations there had been determinations about court processes, economic structure of the region, the interaction between Muslims and Non Muslims, the foundations and the local formation. Şer`iyye Sicils are the local formation sources of history in that point.Key Words: Şer`iyye sicili, Behisni, Ma?muretü?l-`Aziz, Mecelle, Vakıf, Mihir
