Abstract (EN)
Turkish ceramic art has a long history and is an important part of culture. The art of ceramics developed in Anatolian civilizations, Seljuk and Ottoman periods with unique forms and techniques has gained a new dimension with the modernization process in art since the proclamation of the republic. Especially the developments in the post-1980 period; The effects such as the expansion of ceramics education in universities, the proliferation of activities such as exhibitions, symposiums and competitions, and the increasing recognition of ceramic artists and their works at home and abroad are of great importance in the development of contemporary Turkish ceramic art. Within the scope of the research, which deals with the developments and changes in the mentioned process, a documentary film application related to the research subject has been supported by interviews with people who have experienced the process closely.
