Abstract (EN)

In a country's foreign trade, usually, import subtitution strategy or export- oriented strategy is being applied. Mercantilism, had advocated that both, import- subtitution and export oriented strategies must be applied at the same period. On the other side, mercantilism, also, had advocated export should be high as much as possible and import low as much possible. Liberalism doctrin which arised against mercantilism, advocated liberalisation of foreign trade. There have been an optimistic approach that, liberalisation of foreign trade have positive effect on economy of a country, from arising of liberalism until our days. It is thought that in liberalism doctrin, liberalisation of trade effects the economic growth in a positive way. After ending the second world war until our days, in thirty years, Far East Asia countries have created "Far East Aisa Miracle". According most observers, "Far East Aisa Miracle" has been successed by liberalisation of foreign trade. The focus of study which comprises liberalisation of foerign trade in Far East Aisa countries can be summarized like this: Trying to clarify "determined conditions" that caused improved economic growth indicators, by applying liberalisation of foreign trade policy. On the other side, trying to determine the applying mistakes and conditions that cause Turkey couldn't improve economic growth indicators. At the end of the study, we concluded that, Far East Aisa countries have relatively trade liberalisation, but they have stabilty in politic structure. Turkey, hasn't provided politic stability, from 1950's the date which multi-party system has been started, until our days.
