Abstract (EN)

In this study, similar to Hofmann type M(C8H15N)2Ni(CN)4 (M=Ni or Co) host and M(C8H15N)2Ni(CN)4.nG (M=Ni or Cd; G=benzene, 1,2-dichlorobenzene, 1,3-dichlorobenzene, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, naphthalene; n=the number of guest) host-guest compounds have been obtained chemically. The infrared spectra of these compounds, the vibrational wave numbers of ligand molecule and Ni (CN) ? 24 ion and guest molecules have been recorded by FT-IR spectrometer in the spectroscopic region of (4000?400) cm-1 from these spectra. The liberation processes of the guest molecules in the host compounds have examined at room temperature by gravimetric method and have determined by applying elemental analysis of host and host-guest compounds. The thermal behaviors of these compounds have been investigated by thermal-gravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results show that these compounds are similar in structure to Hofmann type compounds and it has been observed that structures consist of polymeric layers |M-Ni(CN)4|? and the 2-(1-Cyclohexenyl)ethylamine (CyHEA) molecule which have bounded to the metal atom (M).
