The examining of the concept of dream in 20th century painting art

This thesis explores how the concept of dream was examined in the art of painting in the 20th century. The dreams and the history of dreaming are examined starting from the sleep phase. Dreams are examined how it was addressed by thinkers such as Freud and Jung in psychology and philosophy. Before the main subject of the thesis, which is the 20th century, how the dream was historically processed in the history of art, in particular the art of painting is also explored. Finally, the artists who produced works on dreams in the 20th century were placed in the focus of the thesis titled The Examining of the Concept of Dream in 20th Century Painting Art.
