Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the global solar radiation (295nm-2800nm) and its UV component (290nm-385nm) were measured in Osmaniye region (37.04E, 36.22N) for one year period (May 2014 to April 2015). All data measured in unit of mV were stored as minutely using MS6D data logger systemand then analyzed as hourly, daily, monthly and yearly in unit of W/m2. Yearly global and UV radiations using daily data were obtained to be 131789,36 W/m2 ve 4780,51 W/m2, respectively. It was also obtained that the mean total radiation and the mean daily UV radiation were obtained to be 361,06 W/m2 and 13,09 W/m2 respectively. From daily data, while the highest global solar radiation and UV radiation were obtained in June 2014 to be 495,29 W/m2 and 17,80 W/m2, the lowest values were obtained in December2014 to be 208,07 W/m2 and 7,21 W/m2. Linear relationship was established between global solar radiation and UV data with the R2=0.97.
