Abstract (EN)

The faucet, an indispensable household implement, plays a pivotal role in facilitating access to water in various settings. Beyond its functional purpose, it also serves as an integral component of interior design, particularly in concept spaces such as hotels and cafes, where aesthetic appeal is a priority. The advent of unconventional designs poses significant challenges to conventional production methodologies, particularly in the realm of stainless steel faucets. This study delves into the design, production process and characterisation of stainless steel faucets manufactured through additive manufacturing techniques. The acoustic measurement value, flow rate values and other technical properties of the stainless steel faucet body produced by conventional methods and the brass raw material faucet body were compared experimentally and analytically. The findings reveal the advantages/disadvantages of additive manufacturing faucets, especially in terms of material quality, design freedom and functional features.
