Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, chalcone derivatives are one of the most used compounds in organic synthesis in order to being good compounds in design of the anticancer drugs. In result of article researches about this subject, the chalcones were possessed important biological activity such as antiviral, antineoplastic, antimalarial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so that ıt is interested in many research groups. The chalcones chemically, they consist of two aromatic rings are joined by a three-carbon ?,ß-unsaturated carbonyl system (1,3-diaril-2-propen-1-one) The chalcone derivatives which extracted from plants also synthesized chemically, posses largely biologically active. Therefore, many investigations have been done on the chalcone derivatives. In this study, thirteen chalcone derivatives were synthesized from the substituted benzaldehyde and 4-morfolinyl/4-methylsulfonyl acetophenone by treatment with NaOH in methanol at room temperature. All reactions was monitored by Thin Layer Chomatography (TLC) and the crude product purified by crystalization from appropriate solvents. The structures of synthesized compounds were identified by UV-vis IR, 13C NMR, 1H NMR, DEPT 90 NMR, DEPT 135 DEPT, APT, HETCOR, HMBC and elemental analysis (C, H, N, S).Key Words: Chalcone, Anticancer Activity, Morfoline
