The transkription and evalation of Court Register numbered of Antalya 49 1315-1316 (a. d. 1897-1899)

In this thesis, the judicial, socio-cultural and administrational properties of Antalya between 1897?1899 have been studied according to the Antalya Şer?iyye sicil with the number of XLIX.In the Ottoman law history, the period starting with the rescript of Tanzimat is the breaking point. Until that time, the Ottoman law bearing Islamic-law centered property, with the Tanzimat reform, it became relatively different from this property. the last decades of 19th century was a period during which the balances changed against the Otoman Empire, the world policy changed its direction and there existed corruption and decline in each area of the empire. In this process, besides changing social and political foundations, administrators gave importance for the reforms to correct the judicial system constituting the skeleton of the empire.Between 1897 and 1899, by tracing the changeover starting with Tanzimat, we can get such information as the relations between muslim and non-muslim people, residential districts, nicknames they used, heritage, succession, guardian, subsistence Money and Proxy appointment.
