In the 6th grade's social studies course, the research of mixed way according to quantum learning model

Abstract (EN)

One of the aims of social studies, to transfer the learning product, to the daily life. Quantum learning model objects the learning to be in an enjoyable, quick and permanent way with various techniques. This research's aim is to examine the quantum learning models effect on the academic success and learning performance in the 6th Grade's social studies course the study has been done in embedded experimental pattern way of the mixed ways pattern. The study group has been created with the middle-degree of social-economic public school students in 2018-2019 in Eskişehir and they have been determined as a control and experiment group. The data has been obtained by the academic success test of the researcher and the semi-structured interviews of the students. Quantitative data have been analyzed in SPSS 23 way and qualitative data have been analyzed in content based analysis way. In the research, it is obtained that there is no big difference between control and experiment groups in their academic success statistically ,contrary to this it is obtained that there is big difference academically between pre and post test of the experiment group. The result of qualitative data, it has been observed that the students have developed positive attitudes in quantum learning model and the students have emphasized that this model has positive effects in learning. As a result of the survey, in creating various learning atmosphere and permanent learning it can be benefitted from quantum learning model and it is recomended.
